LEGO Star Wars AT-RT

AT-RT + Minifigs
Box Art

Not too long ago Olive went to
Toys R Us to buy a new LEGO Friends set.
After a long day of school, I wanted something fun to do -
so I decided to go with them.
I wanted to get the new BARC speeder set,
but it wasn't there so I decided to get the AT-RT.
 I didn't regret it!

The set includes: Yoda, a Clone Trooper, a Commando Droid Captain and a Sniper Droid.
The set costs an OK $19.99.
The AT-RT itself is awesome!  It has a rotating canon, moveable legs and a shielded seat for the clone trooper!
It has 222 pieces and is pretty easy to build.
Overall it is an awesome set.  If you're looking for
something good to buy I would recommend the AT-RT!

Airborne Trooper

Airborne Trooper
Action!!!
Closeup

I can't believe it!  It took forever to finally get it right.
Ladies and gentlemen behold...

MY AIRBORNE TROOPER!!!

I tried to make one at least 3 times,
and each time I tried -
I failed!
On my first try it turned out all black.
The next time it came out all white.
And once it looked like a death trooper (zombie stormtrooper)!

Today I recycled one mess-up and turned it into the real thing!  I used an old airborne trooper body I had already made and re-sharpied it!
Now I have the real thing!

The Pink Trooper

A few times in the past I've heard requests for a pink trooper.  After looking at some old posts I decided maybe I should finally make a post for it (if I haven't done it already!)!  This particular clone I made a long time ago.  I made the helmet a long time ago.  But about a month or so ago I made him (or her) a body.  I'm hoping I might get some good comments! (pleez!)

REAL Clone Sergeant

Clone Sergeant

 Anti-Trooper

I bet you remember my old clone sergeant post. Well, now I got the official minifig!!!
It came in a new LEGO set with two clones and two destroyer droids!
Currently my favorite clones are anti-troopers.  Anti-troopers are clones who fight stormtroopers.
Not long ago I built an anti-trooper MOC (my own creation)!
It's pretty easy to build an anti-trooper.  All you have to do is give a
green clone a jetpack and a blaster rifle.
Right now it's my favorite LEGO clone!

Finally..... 2

OK, I know its been the 4th post about this, stuff but I couldn't resist doing it!  As you can see, this is a republic trooper set + it looks AWESOME!!!  I can't say it's cooler than the last set, but I can easily say the minifigs are way cooler!  The republic troopers are a total longshot from my original (as in way more accurate)!  The sith troopers are really cool as well!  I'm really excited about this Lego set!  I can't wait to get it!

Finally......

Remember one of my posts about republic troopers? And another post where I wrote about how I found out that LEGO was making a republic trooper set?  Well I have to say I just got one!!!!!!!!!  Here's how it happened...  I was on vacation in Houston, and as usual we went to the toy store.  I wanted to get a toy MechaGodzilla but I couldn't find anything good enough. After a while of searching Momma said she would give me some extra money to help me get the Lego Striker Class Starfighter!!!!!!!!  The set includes Satile Shan (a Jedi), a little droid and the republic trooper.  Although the minifigs are really cool - the set is cool as well!  It looks really similar to an X-wing and its wing's can fold in!  I like everything, except the fact that the republic trooper doesn't have a helmet!

UPDATE!!! Around christmas time, LEGO will be making a republic trooper set that comes with helmets!!!  i can't wait!

Oragami!

I just finished reading the Origami Yoda books.  I thought they were awesome!  A while ago Avery introduced me to the books (thanks, avery!!!).  After reading Darth Paper Strikes Back I remembered the instructions on how to make an Origami lightsaber.  I decided I wanted to make a lot of them!   I ended up making tons of them - including a double bladed lightsaber!  So I made a million and I ended up making Olive an Origami Yoda with the instructions provided with the book and I realized how easy it was!!!  Since I started the origami, I've been obsessed (and Olive, too) with it!  The Origami characters I've made include: Yoda, Chewbacca, a clone trooper, R2-D2, Darth Vader and General Grevous!  Last night I made about 7 Yodas that I could give away to people and my new plan is to give everyone I know an Origami Yoda (MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!)!

                                               P.S, I hope he has a helmet!

This is the geonosian arena!!!
On the top there are lots of minifigs battling, which includes clones, jedi and battle droids.
On the pyramid-ish structure you can see Mace Windu sneaking up on Jango Fett!!!
Under that there is a clone pilot going down a zip line!!!
On the bottom there is a skeleton underneath an ice cream parlor.
Plus there is a rock monster ordering ice cream at the bar.

Republic Troopers

Right now I'm obsessed with republic troopers! I think they are the coolest! WARNING! Just so you know they are not clone troopers! If you want to build one here is how:  you can draw blue or orange markings on them and use a scout trooper's helmet. You can either file off the visor or save it, but commanders or other special ranks don't need helmets. I'm thinking of building a battle station on the planet ord mantel.

This is my ARC Commander.   I designed him after a clone on ebay.   I made a few changes to him since
I made him (O.K. maybe mom did a little more than me).

shock trooper commander

this is my clone shock trooper commander.  first he was a shock trooper.  then i made a little bit of changes to it.  i drilled into the clone's helmet so i could attach the visor to the helmet.  i also got red arms from a different lego body.  then i was finished.
it's one of my best clone commanders.  hope you like before (bottom) and after (top) pictures for this one.

Galactic Marine

this is my galactic marine. at first it was a snow trooper, then it was a galactic marine. i colored him maroon. i got black hands and gray legs. i colored the cape orange. then i was finished.

First Post Ever!!!

in this space i will be writing about my lego collection. i collect clones + i make custom ones. the first time i made a custom clone, i didn't make any more for a little while. then, i started to do it more often.
i use sharpie markers, finger nail files, finger nail polish remover and sometimes a drill to make my clones. it takes a little while to make one.

if you are going to use a fingernail file it will take a little more time. if you are going to use finger nail polish remover, it might not always work! if you are going to use a sharpie marker, it will not come off (it's a permanent marker!). the fingernail polish remover may remove the marker if you are doing it right. the drill is used to make a hole so that you can attach a visor to the clone's helmet if you drill in the right spot.

i hope you like it. i'm just getting started.
